About us

Years ago we regularly went on holiday with our children and dog in a semi-detached house. We particularly enjoyed the time together during the day on the beach and in the evening at the barbecue on the terrace. Often grandparents or friends have visited or accompanied us. We are happy to offer you a house for comparable experiences!

The rental of the holiday home Borkum8 - Haus A takes place in the name and for the account of the holiday house Acht GmbH & Co. KG, Königstraße 45, 48268 Greven.

Guest contribution
The current guest contribution regulations of the city of Borkum apply. You can find these on the Internet under www.borkum.de/gaestebeitrag.de The corresponding contributions are collected for account of the North Sea spa Borkum GmbH. We ask for the necessary information electronically. The data required for reporting will be stored and transmitted to the North Sea spa Borkum GmbH for the production of guest cards.

Rules

Type of use
The house is rented exclusively for holiday and recreation purposes. Use for celebrations of any kind is ineffective.

mutual consideration
The tenants are required to take account of each other. In particular, disturbing noises, in particular loud door-throwing and activities that bother the roommates by the resulting noise and impair the home peace of mind, must be avoided.

Rest periods 
Rest periods apply in the house and on the property. We kindly ask you to comply with them.
- Lunch rest: 13:00 to 15:00
- Night rest: 22:00 to 08:00
In the preceding rest periods, music is not required. Radio, television and phono devices are only to be adjusted to room volume.

Damage / Defects
If you notice any damage or defects upon arrival at the house, please report them to the owners. The same applies if repairs are necessary during the stay in the apartment.

Non-smoking house
You live in a non-smoking house, smoking is not allowed in the whole house. If you should smoke in the house, we charge the tenant the cost of odour neutralization by a specialist company, which regularly exceeds 400 €. Smoking is allowed on the terrace, please make sure that the smoke does not move into the house.

Barbecue in the garden
Guests are welcome to use the existing charcoal grill on the terrace. Please make sure that barbecue lighters are used safely. To dispose of the coal residues, please use the metal bucket.

Pets
Stubenreine, well-behaved dogs, which were registered at the conclusion of the rental agreement, are welcome on the ground floor. The prerequisite is the conclusion of animal owner's liability insurance, which must be proven on request.
Other pets are not allowed. If other pets are brought or dogs are brought to the upper floors, we charge the tenant the cost of cleaning by a specialist company, which regularly exceeds 150 €. If dogs are brought unannounced to the ground floor, we charge the dog allowance.

Housing key
The house has a locking system. In the event of loss of the key, we will charge you for the expenses incurred by the exchange of the locking system. We recommend taking out key loss insurance.
